I like the simplistic style of this ident. It encapsulates a natural movement of liquid, playing off the shape of the number 2. The use of audio compliments this piece well. Giving the impression of perhaps bubbles, or an underwater atmosphere.
Idents help personalize the approach/role the industry has in the media world. Its colorful, sensible, pleasant, interesting, and represents something perhaps scientific, giving a certain intellectual persona.
They seem to like idents that work with or play off the structure of the number 2. Keeping the number present throughout the entire sequence.
