'Outside Kick ass' - visual working with soundtrack
youtube_outside kick ass
Music video i found on youtube, using an interesting technique of bending these scenes together to the rhythm of the music.
This connects with my research through the idea of taking these scenes and composing their movement to compliment the soundtrack. Love this soundtrack, its spontaneous and i feel the video does this justice by taking the shape of different speeds of movement, in this case the speed of the blurring and blending of each shot.
A new technique i am considering, its something different and definitely helps the piece flow smoothly.
I also think that it is important to capture the right scene for the right part of the soundtrack. For instance, here the violin portrays a soft, smooth feel, and these shots of wide open scenery help compliment the sophisticated mood.

Dont know why but the whole thing, video and music seems quite disturbing, maybe its the violin and the distortion of images at a rapid rate..
