I found out about 'Th1ng' through the work of freelance animator and illustrator Ewen Stenhouse, who is Animation director at Th1ng.
Th1ng are an animation and mixed media production company, that work on adverts, idents, music videos, promotional films, and feature film title sequences. The studio is based in London' soho.
'The studio was founded by Dominic Buttimore in 2003 and has become home to a host of BAFTA and Academy award-winning/nominated directors and designers.'
Th1ng has facilities for animation, live action, graphics and visual effects.
They have done work for clients such as Warner Bros, CNN, Columbia Pictures, Time Warner and more.
After reading up about Ewen Stenhouse, i found a project he seems to be very proud of. He explains that he created it in flash, and it combines live footage with 2D animation. He says this piece is what helped kick off his career at th1ng. Its an advert aiming to encourage teens to learn French as a second language. (Shot in Paris)
