Fear and Loathing Kinetic Typeography

This is an example of kinetic typography that i found for a scene from the film 'Fear and loathing in Las Vegas.' There were loads of examples of kinetic typography I chose this particular one because i am interested in how the animator has captured the background imagery as well as the text.

It flows nicely together. Its interesting to see how the background can compliment the text. Ive seen so many plain kinetic typography animations, and its great to see something with more detail and attention.

"Kinetic typography can be seen as a vehicle for adding some of the properties of film to that of text. For example, kinetic typography can be effective in conveying a speaker’s tone of voice, qualities of character, and affective (emotional) qualities of text.... It may also allow for a different kind of engagement with the viewer than static text, and in some cases, may explicitly direct or manipulate the attention of the viewer."
