I found out about his designs through 'Computer Arts Magazine,' and have grown very fond of his character design work from Super Silo.

Above are some examples i was inspired by during this period of creating my character. What influenced me mainly about the Super Silo designs are the use of shadow and light. i observed and referred to these compositions a lot during my time making this frog character, and applied some of the same techniques as Martijn van Dam did in his designs.:

Ther use of light reflection, shadowing, shapes, vibrancy,outline, really helped influence the outcome of my design.
His work also helped to guide me in a different direction, and opened my mind to other possibilities i could take in which to compose my character.
