Poster Design for the film "The Imaginarium Of Dr. Parnassus."Terry Gilliam films are a huge inspiration to me in every aspect. His nature of thinking outside the box is always something i look forward to in his work. This poster design is like nothing ive ever seen before:
It carries an art nouveau style, for example the long wavy hair and pale skin. The poster also includes some rather Monty Python-esc imagery, for example the skinny block lettering 'A terry Gilliam film.' can defiantly be recognized as his personal slant on the design. The combination of these two styles work together great! The delicate/frail looking figure above, and the chunky, 'Big City' like type make an excellent contrast.
