Full Tilt Poker_latest advert

This advert was aired on TV recently - Its an advert for full tilt poker - live action with animated type. Im looking at how body language is expressed in these poker/gambling adverts. This is a good example as it focuses close up on facial expression and body language, and expressing them with close up viewpoints.

It reminds me of Bill Violas work that we saw in New York - as he slows down movement in his footage to emphasize different expression in a short moment. I love the use of time remapping involved in this advert, which helps add more intensity to the mood of the piece. Such as the end where the character throws the chips onto the table.

You can really get a feel for the tense atmosphere around the poker table as the people interact with each other.
