Identifying my area of specialism

Recently ive been looking at a lot of work from Th1ng in London. Th1ng specialize in all mannor of moving image and cover a lot of grounds. So I have honed in on a group of directors that call themselves 'Angry Natives,' that work under Th1ng. Their style is based on Flash animation, as well as some other formats combined, such as live footage with Flash.

Im starting to think about where my work will get me in terms of a career, so this is an example of an industry that i can connect to my current work and interests. At this stage i have developed my ideas for my title sequence, and planned out my visuals. So at the moment im identifying my work before putting it into production, and trying to make the visuals professional.

This example is their project for an Orange advert, which features 2D visuals that i can relate to my current ideas. It features an interesting color palette, relating to the client- which is an aspect i am concentrating on in my research for 'Deal Me In' and the casino theme.

The movement is exaggerated in a wacky squeeze and stretch motive. My current ideas for animating my title sequence are that i intend it to be unrealistic, and express a cartoon like feel.

Most work produced by this company has hit the core of my interest in moving image, and is something i want to work towards.
